Where Music Meets Film 2009 will take place in Park City, Utah on

Wednesday evening, January 21, 2009, at Tatou in the Harry O's complex

during the Sundance Film Festival. Warner Bros., Nonesuch and Sire

Records will host an all Acoustic evening featuring sets by such

emerging artists as Tyler Hilton, Sara Watkins and Evan

Taubenfeld. This year's event will be hosted in association with b

inTune Media (www.bintune.com)

and sponsored by A Lot To Say (www.alottosay.com).

Proceeds from the event will benefit The b inTune Foundation Group, the

non-profit arm of b inTune Media. The b inTune Foundation Group is

dedicated to improving the quality of life in communities throughout the

world through educational excellence in music and the arts.

B inTune Media is comprised of various media properties that provide a

unique commercial and social vehicle for reaching and impacting the

youth audience. Through its nationally syndicated network of weekly TV

programs supported by all the major network groups including ABC,

CBS, NBC and FOX, b inTune's reach extends to over 130

markets throughout the United States, as well as over 50,000 middle and

high schools nationwide. The shows are broadcast to over 200 million

homes and 50 countries worldwide. Artists that have been featured on the

shows include Chris Brown, Rhianna, Zarah, The Goo Goo Dolls, and Avril

Lavigne.

A Lot To Say is a lifestyle brand that celebrates and encourages one's

voice to be heard through the written word. Each piece in this

environmentally respectful clothing line gives a simple suggestion that

any individual can do to facilitate change – in our politics, on our

planet, for our future. At A Lot To Say, they believe, "If you think

something, say it. If you believe something, say it. If you want

something, say it. Because saying it creates a new awareness, awareness

sparks new behavior, and new behavior inspires us all to be better. If

we speak out, others will act out. You have a lot to say, so never be

afraid to say it...or wear it...every day." A generous percentage of the

company's profits are given to a variety of environmental, social, and

political causes around the world.

Where Music Meets Film, the brainchild of music industry veteran Art

Ford, is an evening of intimate performances where some of the music's

hottest recording artists go to mix it up with the world's leading

independent filmmakers. Past performers at this exclusive event, now in

its third year, include Josh Groban, Michelle Branch, Jason Mraz, and

Joss Stone. With an audience chock full of celebrities, filmmakers, and

industry execs, the artists will be filmed documentary-style throughout

the day and evening and will air on b inTune.

This year's event will feature an eclectic mix of soulful Americana,

rootsy rock & roll and modern pure pop:

Tyler Hilton:

With his sharp ear for memorable melodies, keen lyrical insights, and

husky, engaging voice, Tyler Hilton connected with people in a big way

with his 2004 major-label debut, TheTracks Of Tyler

Hilton. Hilton spent most of last year writing songs for his

next album in Nashville. Currently, he's back in Los Angeles working on

the album, to be released in spring 2009, and just wrapped up a

successful string of tour dates this past fall. Once again Tyler will

perform as well host the evening's program.

Sara Watkins:

Singer/songwriter/fiddle player Sara Watkins is best known as a founding

member of the Grammy Award–winning, critically acclaimed and

platinum-selling band Nickel Creek. Sara's self-titled debut solo album

was recorded in Los Angeles and Nashville and produced by former Led

Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones. Sara Watkins features a

wide range of colleagues and old friends, including alt-country duo

Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlings, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers

keyboardist Benmont Tench, Elvis Costello drummer Pete Thomas;

colleagues from the bluegrass world like Tim O'Brien, Punch Brothers'

Chris Eldridge, Ronnie McCoury, and Rayna Gellert; and her Nickel Creek

band mates Chris Thile and Sean Watkins. Watkins wrote or co-wrote eight

of the 14 songs on the record, which also includes renditions of tracks

by Jimmie Rodgers, Jon Brion, Norman Blake, and Tom Waits. Nonesuch

releases Sara Watkinson April 7, 2009.

Evan Taubenfeld:

Evan is a gifted songwriter, musician and vocalist and has built an

impressive resume for himself while still in his early 20's. He is best

known for being Avril Lavigne's lead guitarist from spring 2002 to

September 2004. He has also co-written songs on Avril's Under My

Skin and The Best Damn Thing albums. These songs

included "Don't Tell Me", "Freak Out" and "Take Me Away". He was also

featured as a drummer in Avril's 2007 video "Girlfriend" Evan's debut

record for Sire/Warner Bros. Records will be released in early 2009 and

will feature the key track "Boy Meets Girl." Expect 2009 to be a huge

year for Evan Taubenfeld.

Sound check/ Rehearsal for all artists performing at WMMF will take

place on the afternoon of Wednesday, January 21st.
