Auditude Announces Live Video Advertising Partnership with Allied Pacific Sports Network

Auditude, a leading video advertising management and monetization

platform, today announced that it has partnered with Allied Pacific

Sports Network (APSN), based in China and Hong Kong, to deliver dynamic

insertion of advertising into live games online. APSN exclusively

distributes Major League Baseball (MLB) live streaming and other content

to Korea, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand,

Indonesia and Vietnam. The first implementation of Auditude’s

proprietary ad platform for APSN occurred during the 2010 Major League

Baseball All-Star Game.

“It was through the MLB’s definitive recommendation of Auditude as well

as their reputation in the marketplace that led us to a clear-cut

decision to partner with them,” said Peter Schloss, CEO of APSN.

“Auditude’s platform will allow us to sell and insert exponentially more

ads from a greater pool of advertisers, ultimately creating a much

richer experience for our viewers and more ad revenue for APSN.”

Live events present an interesting advertising challenge because the

streams appear at various lengths and often cannot be preprogrammed due

to breaks in the content such as timeouts or inning changes. Auditude’s

ad management platform allows for a wide variety of user and

monetization experiences for live streams, including dynamic ad pod

configurations, overlays and interstitial advertisements. As an example

of Auditude’s success in this area, in the first few months of working

with the MLB in the U.S. via Auditude’s partnership with Yahoo!, 3

million ad impressions per day and 90 million a month were generated.
