Network equipment vendor Nokia Siemens Networks (NOK, SI) said Thursday it has been selected by Iraqi telecom operator Korek Telecom to expand its 2G network in southern Iraq and prepare it for high-speed mobile broadband.


-The operator has also renewed its care and managed services contract with the company.
